Alberfield Pty. Ltd. was created in 1995 by Alan Carmody to deliver power and process control systems design services to the energy, utilities and resources sectors. In 2000, the company expanded and focussed its attention on assisting organisations meet the challenges posed by the threat of human induced global warming to their operations both directly and indirectly. This led naturally to assisting our clients understand and meet the requirements of new energy and environmental reporting legislation created by the Federal Government. Over time this grew to encompass more traditional energy and environmental management tasks while maintaining a focus on energy efficiency and environmental climate change
Alan’s key areas of experience include meeting new Federal and State Government legislated energy and environmental requirements as well as working towards industry best practise in energy and environmental management. This has expanded to include identification and management of broader sustainability issues.
When Mike Dean joined Alan as Principal and Partner in 2008, he brought with him extensive knowledge and experience in the area of Risk Management, enabling Alberfield to broaden the technical and operational base of the company.
The practice of Risk Management is conducted under a number of Australian and International Standards, and Alberfield has developed comprehensive and practical systems and procedures to ensure the effective compliance in meeting these standards. Services provided range from small HAZOP delivery to large scale project and corporate risk management.
