Alber­field Pty. Ltd. was cre­ated in 1995 by Alan Car­mody to deliver power and process control systems design services to the energy, utilities and resources sectors. In 2000, the company expanded and focussed its attention on assisting organisations meet the challenges of human-induced global warming to their operations, both directly and indirectly. This naturally led to assisting our clients understand and meet the require­ments of new energy and environmental reporting leg­is­la­tion cre­ated by the Fed­eral Government. Over time, this grew to encompass more traditional energy and environmental management tasks, while maintaining a focus on energy efficiency and environmental climate change.

Alan’s key areas of expe­ri­ence include meet­ing new Fed­eral and State Gov­ern­ment leg­is­lated energy and environmental requirements as well as working towards industry best practise in energy and environmental management. This has expanded to include identification and management of broader sustainability issues.

The prac­tice of Risk Man­age­ment is con­ducted under a num­ber of Aus­tralian and Inter­na­tional Stan­dards, and Alber­field has devel­oped com­pre­hen­sive and prac­ti­cal sys­tems and pro­ce­dures to ensure effec­tive com­pli­ance in meet­ing these standards. Services provided include HAZOP and other workshop facilitation, Dangerous Goods licensing, Hazardous Area Classification, Functional Safety (SIL) related consulting and other quantitative risk analysis.
